Les tendances décoration de cet Automne

What are the latest decoration trends for this fall 2020?

Ceramics, marble, wood, caning, rattan… This desire to have ethical, natural, sustainable and more responsible products is more present this season. These comforting materials offer a reminder of the Mediterranean style which makes you travel, gives authenticity and above all highlights the artisanal side.

As far as colors are concerned, the trends are neutral tones and mineral shades inspired by nature such as creamy white, beige, gray or greige. Neutral tones can be complemented with a light touch of color and a gold finish brought on by vintage brass fittings.

To blend gently into our environment, the decoration style for this fall mainly favors rounded designs, curved lines and rounded angles. As for the storage units, which sometimes have a vintage connotation, they are the only ones to take on relief and thus make it possible to break up the very rounded shapes of the armchairs, sofas and chairs.

Their designs are now intended to be elaborate, original and geometric in order to stand out from straight and standard shapes. This mixture of both modern and retro creates a completely contemporary style with the latest trends for this fall.

Curly wool effect upholsteries in white, cream and beige tones provide warmth, comfort and softness. Beyond their contemporary design, this soft material brings a cozy atmosphere and a cocooning atmosphere.

Anthracite gray wood is mainly found in furniture such as coffee tables, bedside tables, bookcases or sideboards. This natural material, both timeless and elegant, provides the desired contrast.

This authentic material brings refinement, vintage and a certain cachet. If you do not want to change all your furniture while being at the forefront of the latest trends, this material is ideal to complete your interior.

Despite its reputation as a cold stone, marble is also honored for its call to the source of the earth and nature. These different variants and tones bring the high-end and sophisticated touch.

Velvet remains undeniably trendy for this fall, but mainly in gray tones. It's hard to get tired of this timeless color, ideal to match and which warms up the atmosphere.

Floral, exotic or even botanical motifs are also on trend to dress up your interior and import the natural look this fall. You can bring these patterns with cushions, an accent chair or light fixtures thus creating lighting shadows.

As far as accessories are concerned, sculptural forms and gold are in the spotlight. Notably designed in brass and with a vintage finish, they will add the finishing touch to any decoration. Not to mention the rugs that warm the floors and give warmth.
